Dominant groups
Analysis of the year of arrival for the population born in Italy of the City of Burnside in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a smaller proportion of people who arrived before 2001, and a larger proportion of recent overseas arrivals (those who arrived between 2016 to 10 Aug 2021).
Overall, 87.7% of the population born in Italy arrived before 2001, and 3.0% arrived during or after 2016, compared with 88.9% and 2.5% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
