Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the City of Burnside in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 21.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.9% and 17.1% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
