Dominant groups
Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings for people aged 65 to 74 years in the City of Burnside in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide, shows that there was a higher proportion of people aged 65 to 74 years in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, as well as a higher proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 20.1% of people aged 65 to 74 years were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 32.3% in 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 19.1% and 24.2% for Greater Adelaide respectively.
The major differences between the number of bedrooms per dwelling people aged 65 to 74 years in the City of Burnside and Greater Adelaide were:
