Dominant groups
Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings for children aged 12 to 17 years in the City of Burnside in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide, shows that there was a higher proportion of children aged 12 to 17 years in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, as well as a higher proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 6.9% of children aged 12 to 17 years were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 61.5% in 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 3.9% and 52.0% for Greater Adelaide respectively.
The major differences between the number of bedrooms per dwelling children aged 12 to 17 years in the City of Burnside and Greater Adelaide were:
