Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in Tasmania in 2021 compared to Regional NSW shows that there was a higher proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), as well as a higher proportion of females with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 50.8% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 40.7% had no qualifications, compared with 50.2% and 39.7% respectively for Regional NSW.
