An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Regional NSW in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
In combination these three occupations accounted for 345,914 males in total or 54.5% of the employed male resident population.
In comparison, Regional Australia employed 24.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.3% in Managers; and 13.3% in Professionals.
There were no major differences between Regional NSW and Regional Australia in 2021.
The number of employed males in Regional NSW increased by 63,155 between 2016 and 2021.
