Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Tahmoor in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (426 people or 16.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (348 people or 13.2%)
  • Retail Trade (307 people or 11.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,081 people in total or 40.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, New South Wales employed 8.6% in Construction; 14.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.0% in Retail Trade.
