Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Doreen in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,638 females or 24.4%)
  • Education and Training (1,084 females or 16.2%)
  • Retail Trade (778 females or 11.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,500 females in total or 52.2% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Whittlesea employed 25.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.2% in Education and Training; and 12.5% in Retail Trade.
