Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mill Park in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,045 people or 14.7%)
  • Construction (1,549 people or 11.1%)
  • Retail Trade (1,548 people or 11.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 5,142 people in total or 37.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Whittlesea Township and Surrounds employed 13.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 20.6% in Construction; and 8.2% in Retail Trade.
