Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Green Wedge in 2021 compared to the City of Whittlesea shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 34.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.3% were one-parent families, compared with 41.2% and 12.6% respectively for the City of Whittlesea.
