Analysis of the household/family types in Epping in 2021 compared to Wollert shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 40.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 13.7% were one-parent families, compared with 53.8% and 9.7% respectively for Wollert.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 17.4% compared to 11.7% in Wollert while the proportion of couples without children was 19.2% compared to 18.2% in Wollert.
