Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of Lalor in 2021 compared to Epping North shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 18.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 28.1% and 5.4% respectively for Epping North.
The major differences between the male age structure of Lalor and Epping North were:

From 2011 to 2021, Lalor's male population increased by 1,808 people (18.4%). This represents an average annual population change of 1.71% per year over the period.
The largest changes in male age structure in this area between 2011 and 2021 were in the age groups:

- 5 to 9 (+185 males)
