Analysis of the household/family types in Hillvue in 2021 compared to Dubbo Regional Council area shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 26.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.7% were one-parent families, compared with 26.0% and 11.7% respectively for Dubbo Regional Council area.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 21.3% compared to 24.9% in Dubbo Regional Council area while the proportion of couples without children was 32.2% compared to 24.7% in Dubbo Regional Council area.
