Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Hillvue in 2021 compared to North Tamworth shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 26.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.7% were one-parent families, compared with 17.8% and 8.3% respectively for North Tamworth.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 21.3% compared to 39.9% in North Tamworth while the proportion of couples without children was 32.2% compared to 19.6% in North Tamworth.
