Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in Foster and surrounds in 2021 compared to the South West Coastal District shows that there was a lower proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of females with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 47.3% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 38.9% had no qualifications, compared with 52.2% and 38.2% respectively for the South West Coastal District.
