Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings in South Gippsland Shire in 2021 compared to Mirboo North - Baromi shows that there was a higher proportion of dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a lower proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 16.8% of households were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 28.8% of 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 13.4% and 30.7% for Mirboo North - Baromi respectively.
The major differences between the number of bedrooms per dwelling of South Gippsland Shire and Mirboo North - Baromi were:
- A larger percentage of 2 bedroom dwellings (13.8% compared to 10.3%)
