There were more professionals in Sheldon in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sheldon in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (210 people or 22.9%)
  • Managers (148 people or 16.1%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (143 people or 15.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 501 people in total or 54.6% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Redland City Mainland employed 18.5% in Professionals; 13.3% in Managers; and 15.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Sheldon and Redland City Mainland were:
