Method of travel to work
On Census day 2016 in Green Wedge, 66.8% of males travelled to work in a private car, 2.1% took public transport and 5.3% rode a bike or walked. 12.9% worked at home.

For this reason, these categories may have increased, with corresponding declines in other methods of travel. Use the data with caution when comparing over time. Dominant groups
In 2016, there were 41 males who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Green Wedge, compared with 1,423 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the male residents in Green Wedge in 2016, compared to Flinders - Shoreham - Point Leo, shows that 2.1% used public transport, while 66.8% used a private vehicle, compared with 2.1% and 68.1% respectively in Flinders - Shoreham - Point Leo.
