There were more technicians and trades workers in HMAS Cerberus in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in HMAS Cerberus in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Technicians and Trades Workers (444 people or 47.3%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (334 people or 35.6%)
- Professionals (65 people or 6.9%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 843 people in total or 89.8% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Flinders - Shoreham - Point Leo employed 13.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 5.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 29.1% in Professionals.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of HMAS Cerberus and Flinders - Shoreham - Point Leo were:
