Dominant groups

In 2011, there were 334 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Travancore, compared with 369 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Travancore in 2011, compared to the City of Moonee Valley, shows that 36.0% used public transport, while 39.8% used a private vehicle, compared with 17.5% and 62.8% respectively in the City of Moonee Valley.
