Dominant groups

Analysis of the male service age groups of the City of Melton in 2021 compared to Truganina shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (0 to 17 years) as well as a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (60+ years).

Overall, 28.8% of the male population was aged between 0 and 17, and 12.4% were aged 60 years and over, compared with 25.5% and 6.2% respectively for Truganina.
