Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Melton in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (8,302 females or 21.9%)
  • Professionals (8,075 females or 21.3%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (7,193 females or 19.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 23,570 females in total or 62.3% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Taylors Hill employed 24.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 22.1% in Professionals; and 14.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Melton and Taylors Hill were:
