Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Fraser Rise in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (590 females or 26.8%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (509 females or 23.1%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (365 females or 16.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,464 females in total or 66.6% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 30.4% in Professionals; 19.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Fraser Rise and Greater Melbourne were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (23.1% compared to 19.1%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Sales Workers (11.6% compared to 10.2%)
