Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Melton East in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (3,175 males or 17.9%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (2,156 males or 12.2%)
  • Manufacturing (1,790 males or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 7,121 males in total or 40.2% of the total employed male resident population.
