Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Weir Views in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (173 males or 17.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (164 males or 16.1%)
  • Manufacturing (90 males or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 427 males in total or 42.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Melton employed 18.2% in Construction; 14.6% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 9.5% in Manufacturing.
