Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Kurunjang in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (544 males or 21.5%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (413 males or 16.3%)
  • Manufacturing (260 males or 10.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,217 males in total or 48.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Western Region employed 14.4% in Construction; 12.0% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 8.8% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Kurunjang and Western Region were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in construction (21.5% compared to 14.4%)
