Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Harkness in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (572 males or 20.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (445 males or 15.6%)
  • Retail Trade (252 males or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,269 males in total or 44.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Fraser Rise employed 19.2% in Construction; 14.4% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 7.0% in Retail Trade.
