Dominant groups

Analysis of male individual income levels in Aintree in 2021 compared to Brookfield shows that there was a higher proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 16.7% of the male population earned a high income, and 16.8% earned a low income, compared with 9.6% and 28.3% respectively for Brookfield.

The major differences between Aintree's male individual incomes and Brookfield's male individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of males who earned $2,000 - $2,999 (12.0% compared to 7.3%)
  • A larger percentage of males who earned $1,500 - $1,749 (10.8% compared to 7.2%)
  • A smaller percentage of males who earned $300 - $399 (2.3% compared to 7.0%)
