Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Eynesbury in 2021 compared to Western Region shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 54.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 7.7% were one-parent families, compared with 37.7% and 11.6% respectively for Western Region.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 10.7% compared to 20.2% in Western Region while the proportion of couples without children was 24.6% compared to 21.0% in Western Region.
