Dominant groups
Analysis of the female five year age groups of Aintree in 2021 compared to Strathtulloh shows that there was a higher proportion of females in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of females in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 31.2% of the female population was aged between 0 and 15, and 3.1% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 28.8% and 3.0% respectively for Strathtulloh.
The major differences between the female age structure of Aintree and Strathtulloh were:
- A larger percentage of females aged 35 to 39 (15.6% compared to 11.6%)
- A larger percentage of females aged 5 to 9 (11.9% compared to 8.5%)
