Dominant groups
Analysis of the need for assistance of males in the City of Melton compared to Toolern Vale shows that there was a lower proportion of males who reported needing assistance with core activities.
Overall, 2.2% of the male population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 6.9% for Toolern Vale.
The major differences in the male age groups reporting a need for assistance in Aintree and Toolern Vale were:
