Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in New Beith and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (422 people or 13.3%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (331 people or 10.4%)
  • Manufacturing (294 people or 9.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,047 people in total or 32.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Logan City employed 12.2% in Construction; 13.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.1% in Manufacturing.
