Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Gunnedah (South) in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (604 people or 16.4%)
  • Professionals (561 people or 15.3%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (533 people or 14.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,698 people in total or 46.2% of the employed resident population.
