Analysis of the unpaid child care provided by the male population in Casey Established in 2021 compared to Endeavour Hills shows that there was a higher proportion of males who provided unpaid child care either to their own or to other children. Overall, 24.5% of the male population provided unpaid child care, compared with 21.8% for Endeavour Hills.
The major differences between the share of the male population providing unpaid child care in Casey Established and Endeavour Hills were:
- A larger percentage who provided unpaid childcare for own child/ren (20.8% compared to 17.3%)
- A smaller percentage who did not provide care for children (69.7% compared to 72.6%)
