Dominant groups
In 2016, there were 479 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Narre Warren, compared with 4,148 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in Narre Warren in 2016, compared to Yarra Ranges Council, shows that 8.5% used public transport, while 73.5% used a private vehicle, compared with 5.9% and 70.2% respectively in Yarra Ranges Council.
