Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Pearcedale in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (211 females or 22.4%)
  • Education and Training (124 females or 13.2%)
  • Retail Trade (100 females or 10.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 435 females in total or 46.2% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Education and Training; and 12.0% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Pearcedale and the City of Casey were:
