Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Harkaway in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (39 females or 16.3%)
  • Education and Training (31 females or 13.0%)
  • Retail Trade (29 females or 12.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 99 females in total or 41.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Education and Training; and 12.0% in Retail Trade.
