Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Clyde in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (897 females or 31.0%)
  • Retail Trade (316 females or 10.9%)
  • Education and Training (296 females or 10.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,509 females in total or 52.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Retail Trade; and 11.0% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Clyde and the City of Casey were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (31.0% compared to 25.8%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed in accommodation and food services (4.7% compared to 5.9%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed in retail trade (10.9% compared to 12.0%)
