Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Casey Established in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (16,898 people or 14.0%)
  • Construction (13,858 people or 11.5%)
  • Manufacturing (13,820 people or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 44,576 people in total or 36.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Melton employed 12.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.3% in Construction; and 7.1% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Casey Established and the City of Melton were:
