Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Harkaway in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (87 people or 16.6%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (61 people or 11.6%)
- Retail Trade (53 people or 10.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 201 people in total or 38.3% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Casey Coast (region) employed 20.4% in Construction; 10.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.9% in Retail Trade.
