Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Botanic Ridge in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (558 males or 29.4%)
  • Manufacturing (196 males or 10.3%)
  • Retail Trade (134 males or 7.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 888 males in total or 46.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Casey Growth Area employed 16.1% in Construction; 13.7% in Manufacturing; and 9.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Botanic Ridge and Casey Growth Area were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in construction (29.4% compared to 16.1%)
