Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Narre Warren in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,460 females or 23.9%)
  • Retail Trade (798 females or 13.1%)
  • Education and Training (692 females or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,950 females in total or 48.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Berwick (North) - Beaconsfield employed 22.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Retail Trade; and 15.2% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Narre Warren and Berwick (North) - Beaconsfield were:
