Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Lyndhurst in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (358 males or 14.6%)
  • Construction (256 males or 10.5%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (242 males or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 856 males in total or 35.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Mitchell Shire employed 10.9% in Manufacturing; 23.7% in Construction; and 9.3% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
