Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Casey Coast in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (196 females or 20.8%)
- Education and Training (106 females or 11.3%)
- Retail Trade (104 females or 11.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 406 females in total or 43.1% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Cranbourne East employed 31.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.5% in Education and Training; and 12.4% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Casey Coast and Cranbourne East were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in construction (6.8% compared to 2.3%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in agriculture, forestry and fishing (4.4% compared to 0.8%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in public administration and safety (5.7% compared to 3.5%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (20.8% compared to 31.4%)

The number of employed females in Casey Coast increased by 74 between 2016 and 2021.
