Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of the City of Casey in 2021 compared to Hume City shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a similar proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 23.6% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 9.9% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 23.2% and 10.1% respectively for Hume City.
The major differences between the male age structure of the City of Casey and Hume City were:
