The size of Narre Warren's male labour force in 2016 was 7,506, of which 1,301 were employed part-time and 5,356 were full time workers.
Analysis of the male employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Narre Warren in 2016 compared to Fountain Gate - Narre Warren Catchment shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 93.0% of the male labour force was employed, and 7.0% unemployed, compared with 90.9% and 9.1% respectively for Fountain Gate - Narre Warren Catchment.
