Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of the male population attending educational institutions in the City of Casey in 2021 compared to Yarra Ranges Council shows that there was a higher proportion attending primary school, a higher proportion attending secondary school, and a higher proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 10.2% of the male population were attending primary school, 7.6% of the male population were attending secondary institutions, and 6.1% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 8.8%, 7.0% and 4.9% respectively for Yarra Ranges Council.

The major differences between the share of the male population attending learning institutions in the City of Casey and Yarra Ranges Council were:
