Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Cranbourne in 2021 compared to Casey Growth Area shows that 86.9% of the households owned at least one car, while 5.4% did not, compared with 95.5% and 0.8% respectively in Casey Growth Area.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 33.1% of the households owned one car; 34.4% owned two cars; and 19.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 25.2%; 51.5% and 18.8% respectively for Casey Growth Area.
