Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Junction Village in 2021 compared to Cardinia Shire shows that 86.9% of the households owned at least one car, while 8.6% did not, compared with 92.4% and 2.5% respectively in Cardinia Shire.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 38.9% of the households owned one car; 32.9% owned two cars; and 15.0% owned three cars or more, compared with 27.7%; 40.4% and 24.4% respectively for Cardinia Shire.
