Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Berwick in 2021 compared to Botanic Ridge shows that 93.5% of the households owned at least one car, while 2.8% did not, compared with 97.0% and 0.6% respectively in Botanic Ridge.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 27.7% of the households owned one car; 42.9% owned two cars; and 22.8% owned three cars or more, compared with 15.5%; 55.8% and 25.7% respectively for Botanic Ridge.
